Genius Hour

This is what I want to do for my Genius Hour.
How might we make a recipe gluten free?
Week .1
Me and Jasmine tried a 6 minute mud cup cake we got no photos but here is the recipe it was amazing!!


Gluten free recipe ingredients                           

DIRECTIONS

  1. Also required: 1 large coffee mug.
  2. Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well.
  3. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
  4. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
  5. Add the chocolate chips (if using).
  6. Add vanilla extract, and mix again.
  7. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
  8. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
  9. Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
  10. EAT! (can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

  • 4tablespoons sweet rice flour
  • 4tablespoons sugar
  • 2tablespoons cocoa
  • 1egg
  • 3tablespoons milk
  • 3tablespoons oil
  • 3tablespoons chocolate chips(optional)
  • 1dash vanilla extract










 Me and Jasmine's passion project we are making skater dresses
week 1
This week we cut mine top out and Jasmine sewed the two back pieces together and sewed the top of my sleeves together then she pinned her arm hole so that next week she can start hemming my top. I have now caught up and has also hemmed the top of my sleeves. Jasmine will post a picture with this when she gets one and will share it with me.


This week Jasmine and me made her skirt and now it is ready. First we had to pin our premade pattern to my dark blue fabric. Next we cut out Jasmine's skirt and then we had finished Jasmine's skirt. Next week we plan to cut out mine skirt and part of my top.




Week 2 This week we cut out Jasmine's skirt and the front of my top.First we had to transfer Jasmine's skirt template to lunch wrap. After we did that we pinned it to the fabric and cut out my skirt. Then whilemy was doing that Jasmine's  traced around the front part of our tank top patterns and the Jasmine's pinned it to my fabric and cut it out.Ignore the sleeves as they are from the top Jasmine's have on underneath.Not stiched .






Week 5 and 6
We made Jasmine's dress and we just need to sew hers and cut my one!!!
And we got a problem with mine one so we have to do a different top half.
Week 7
Week 5 for Passion Project
Me and Have done our tops and we will be doing my skirt next and the last stage for Jasmine's top and sew here skirt to her top two.This week I and Jasmine sewed the side seams. We also heamed the arms. Hopefully we will finish next week Jasmine only have to sew down the front and attach her skirt to my top. : )




Week 8/9 
We finshed our dress but there is a promble because ,me and jasmine now have to makesomething to go on the bit where the thing went on angle.
